Where Do I Start?
If you're completely new to the Bible, we recommend that you begin reading in the book of John and then read the book of Acts.
It is important to read the entire Bible, Old and New Testament, to get an accurate picture of what the Bible says, but John, Acts and Romans best summarize the Bible message, so if you have no idea where to start, these books are a great place.
You can start at the beginning in Genesis, but it is easy to get bogged down, starting in the 3rd book, Leviticus. If you get stuck, we recommend alternately reading some in the Old Testament, some in the new Testament, and some Psalms and Proverbs.
